How does Kybella work?

KYBELLA® is injected into the area beneath your chin by our Mayo-clinic trained plastic surgeon, Dr. Lincenberg. The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid, which destroys submental fat cells beneath the chin. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps your cells breakdown and absorb dietary fat. After the KYBELLA® treatment, the fat cells are destroyed and cleared through your bodies natural metabolism process.

Each treatment normally only takes 20-30 minutes, which is an easy, non-surgical alternative to a facelift.

How many treatments do I need?
